You guys killed AV my favorite bg. You buffed WSG and AB marks and not AV marks. Can we get a ETA on the hotfix for this. I haven’t seen AV pop since AV weekend.

Seems like this is their intent. I feel for the ones who hit 51 and wanted to do the quests there. The cancerous ‘honor per hour’ mentality is really strangling PvP and Blizz needs to think of a solution for it in the long term.
I thought the honor tokens for AB/WSG were genuinely good, but it has effectively killed AV.
They should have just buffed The Great Honor quest to turn in all 3 sets of tokens. That why it incentives playing all 3 bg’s but no they had to leave AV as trash honor compared to ab/wsg…

Yea that’s not a bad idea. Make it 1 token from each BG and you’ll get participation in each all around.
I’m sure customer support will absolutely know the answer to this developer aimed request.
True i don’t want to play ab or wsg for my rank 14 grind. Id rather W key to drek and then afk out if there’s any resistance, we do pvp for the pve gear after all. Drek or kek was so much more chill than these griefing ab and wsg games. Thank god i finished all the reps and honor early and am done ever playing bgs (until r14 grind). But don’t worry AV will be fixed for next phase so we will be able to just run south for our easy rank and pve gear! There has never once been a classic that didn’t have the option to av to 14. AV is the best honor in game and that will return for the last rank push! As you can see wsg has stopped popping now and soon ab will stop. Most of us top players finish the rank the first week its possible and we did av for that so once the ranks open to 14 we will all come back and the AV q’s will return! Mine as well. I have not had a single AV pop in about half a month. They ruined it to where Ally wins, we get more honour, Horde wins…Ally gets more honour…almost always that is the case. Very rarely does the Horde get more honour for doing an AV now.
And also, it is now doable in less than 5 minutes. No reason for Horde to do it, if you do, you lose either way most often now.
I don’t understand what they thought buffing AB and WSG to be miles better than AV was going to do to AV. The buff should of been much smaller. Or AV needed to be buffed along side AB/WSG. I think honestly best solution is to buff the great for honor. Turningn in 1 of each mark being twice as valuable as single turn in. This would make all 3 bg’s pop.

It’s one of those things that we can’t necessarily fault Blizz for. (sort of) This is 100% player behavior. WSG and AB were dead so they were effectively useless. At least now WSG and AB are being utilized and now the reverse is happening for AV.
I’d think something like the 1 of each mark turn in for comparable honor/rep would get all the BGs going. But hey these people don’t listen to run of the mill folk like us.
Simple make the 9 mark quest turn in give DRAMATICALLY more honor than the 3 mark turn in. I mean even with the buff getting 430k/8.5k=~51 wins is just annoying at the later stages, maybe as well have the marks be used for something cool or have marks be able to buy items with some economical value.

Hope so. I waited for a queue all last weekend with zero drops. AV was so iconic back in the day. And the current team had to ruin it. Zero reason why a group of mostly non max level players should be able to rush base and take out the lead when most are not even in any epics and they do it 3-4 minutes sometimes even. Zero HKs in it now and with the new setup it greatly disadvantaged Horde players so ofc they quit queueing up.
I guess they want us to only be able to play AV on AV weekend so 3 days a month.

Try to look at it from their perspective: they tried to implement changes and all that happened was half the community (alliance) threw all of their bgs for a week just to…get the same amount of honor they were going to get only a bit faster. Gotta be pretty demoralizing if you ask me 
They need to buff AV so it’s the same honor per hour as AB, If they aren’t going to buff the great for honor turn in so all the bgs pop. World PvP is fun and all but man I miss AV. Might have to go back to era if they don’t fix this…

Those poor level 51s will have to level to 60 instead of griefing their entire team by being useless in a max level BG
