Queuing for Alterac Valley at 40 mins and still no average wait time for last 10 players.
Is there a server issue?
It may be because of the 20th event. AV is back to Old School AV, and those matches were known to run a full day lol. I’ve already heard from guildies they were in one that took well over 2 hours, and only got like a 2k honor gain total.
Due to how the game is played in SoD most AV’s last about ~5 mins as everyone rushes past each other to kill the general. People can get up to 6k honor in those matches even in the event of a loss.
To get something like this through player activity across all the SoD servers would be unlikely. Either less than 20 players each side are queued or many people are playing a game where they no longer get honor from kills and not leaving.
Also the stormpike emissaries aren’t letting me join the queue.
Bumping this as I’m in the same boat, seems like there’s no games happening so either something is wrong with the server or people are no longer queueing for it due to AB and WSG having more lucrative honor. Either way, it’s something that needs to be addressed.
Yeah, this is supremely disappointing. The devs killed AV without a second thought. It’s unfathomable that there are ZERO AV games happening on AV weekend. Meanwhile, AB queues are 5 minutes (as of the moment I’m writing this).
They killed my favorite BG. It’s killing the game for me.
Yes the devs disabled AV because they hate trying to do anything pvp related
