AV Cave Rez situation

They make changes, but they aren’t going to rebalance things. Vanilla wasn’t balanced, and neither is classic. They’re not going to balance MCP, ret paladin damage, flask warriors, or this battleground map.

Those changes they made are balancing changes…

None of that is balancing changes.

No, the changes made were to tackle what blizzard considers to be exploitive behaviour, or to tackle some weird RMT/botting issues. None was to balance the game

What threads are you reading that you are not seeing this?

Sure we could point out a few Post in each of the topics that suggests that.

But the meat and potatoes of the topics are about fixing the cave Rez.

I should have known you’d be the one to point that out.

TBH I’m thankful for the bumps.

At some point Blizzard has to explain why this issue isn’t being dealt with…

If their answer is “this is classic, warts and all”, I guess we just have to live with AV being this boring mess.

But it should be far easier for Blizzard to just apply a hotfix to make caves the last defensive GY in the spawn order and actually fix this.

They are making that statement everyday. They clearly dont have any intent to “fix” it. Their actions are giving you that message. Of course they arent going to outright say it.
You dont need Blizzard stating they WONT increase Rag’s health and add mythic+ to classic raids. So why would you expect Blizzard to confirm any other negative, in the case, that they WONT be changing AV?

There’s nothing to deal with. This was the map in 1.12 in Vanilla. Your opinion of it is irrelevant. And your concerns addressed…in TBC. Just like a million other concerns about a million other issues. Your obsession over this is just that.

What a shocker, he thinks layering was a bad thing.

If layering was not used nearly every server would be a ghost town right now.

Because they are applying fixes to PVP maps to prevent unintended behaviors.

Horde cave defense of IB GY is probably not what was intended when AV 1.12 came out…

But at this point I just want to see what happens.

What truly baffles me is these people who keep saying no changes when changes already happened.

Changes were already made to the map that weren’t there in Vanilla.

They wont revert these changes, so there goal is to keep defending no changes??

Does a balanced map scare them that much?

Fixing bugs and exploits =/= rebalancing. It’s a different type of change.

On top of that, I just don’t understand the logic. They say Blizzard made a terrible change that ruined the battleground. So now they want Blizzard to make more changes. They criticize them and yet put faith to get it right the next time? There’s no logic to any of this. It’s just frustration leading to emotional statements without common sense or reasoning behind it.

Defending is not an unintended behaviour. Or else the alliance bridge would have been nerfed long ago and Blizzard wouldnt gotten rid of the alliance back door.

You’re already seeing what happens. Their non-response means No. Just like how my request for Earthshield baseline isnt going to get a response

You lied in all caps. Of course you should be called out on it.

No, they really don’t. And I doubt there is a single player beyond Drinkinblink and a couple of his ilk that actually believe you main horde in AV. Your demand for a blue answer carries as much weight as anyone else on the forum.

edit: Oh look, the RCR alts are brigading again to hide posts they do not agree with.

AV queue was not a bug and it was not an exploit.
The game starting with too few people was a bug, which they fixed separately from the queuing issue.

If you loosen the definition enough to consider it an exploit then the Horde using the map advantage the way thy do is ALSO an exploit.

I exaggerated maybe.

But lied?? Naw.

The Crux of all of this is the cave rez, not pushing the cave back.

Good try tho.

Total BS. Since when is camping a spawn point considered an exploit? Since NEVER. And yet Blizzard made changes because Alliance pre-mades were camping the Horde cave. And yes, they had the balls to call it “griefing.”

So the next time your GY is camped in WSG or AB, go cry to Blizzard. They’ll probably put some elite guards there for ya’.

This is Horde bias, plain and simple. It’s disgusting.
