why are the AV brackets 51-60, 61-70, and 71-80 a level 59 fully geared has no chance against a lvl 60 in full pvp gear and the same goes for 69 vs a 70 and 79 vs an 80 can we get the brackets fixed like they did in cata
If you want a chance you need to level to the top of your bracket level. Catan did it but this is wrath right?
its about being fair with gear a lvl 60 and be in full arena season X gear from the PVP gear vendors and a lvl 59 cant…the lvl 70 can be in full brutal Resilience gear the lvl 69 has no option for resilience
well idk what to tell you other than get max lvl for your bracket. people dont play bgs to compete at bottom level they do it for xp.
your missing the point all other BGs are x0-x9 and its fair and balanced but AV is x1-x0. it was originally done because no one did AV at max level during TBC.
Sure they do! A level 51 pally in leveling greens can can still BoP, HoF, HoJ, dispell and heal! And a level 51 mage can slow a lot of people down with Frost Nova, imo Blizzard and polymorph.
It’s not like AV is a bunch of 1v1s.

PvP in an MMORPG will never be fair/balanced. That doesn’t mean measures can’t/shouldn’t be implemented to eliminate aberrant discrepancies, but at some point a line has to be drawn. Our current level bracket setting is that line.
What would you suggest as an alternative?
Why dont you just get max level for your bracket?
i suggest that AV has the same brackets as all the other BGs
Is the difference due to the PVE elements that are unique to AV? The bosses for each bracket are tuned as raid bosses for Vanilla, TBC and WOTLK.
That’s what I would chalk it up to. I’m assuming the train of thought was that while lowbies may not be able to win the frontal assault, they could tame a wolf/ram/pick up suppy boxes as good as anyone else.
you should not be able to be in full pvp grand marshall gear at lvl 60 and play against lvl 51-60. oh and the towers respawn archers at the level of the person who re caps it and the lvl 60 archers will 2 shot most classes that dont where plate
Battlegrounds are not arenas.
Grand Marshall gear versus green gear is not filtered by a rating.
So it will happen
I like these changes and would vote for them.
Blizzard doesn’t care though.

I thought of an easy fix for blizzard, they created the problem when they decided to include characters who have XP turned off in BGs with everyone else. lets make it like OG WOLTK where the people with XP turned off just have there own brackets
