I have a theory, Alliance keeps losing AV because of bots. Blizzard should investigate.
Most likely they are investigating any reports that come across their metaphorical desk (their queue in their ticketing system). It is better to learn how a bot works and then see how to catch it instead of mass bans. Banning someone creates a strange interaction where the player can simply create a new account and since thie new account has no sentimentality to them they are now more inclined to break the rules thus starting the cycle all over again. Instead they want to break the bot software making it not usable and penalize players who are using it appropriately.
Bots were investigated. They weren’t the droids we were looking for.
They are not I keep reporting and screenshoting the same characters and sending it to them.
Word just got out that another banwave has happened and a lot of those non-contributing people in BGs have been hit with 1 week bans.
So, keep reporting these non-contributing people if you see them in your match and people actually see it for themselves.
Source? I still see a bunch.
If you made a bot that just fished, would anyone even know it was a bot?
One week ban won’t do much, they’ll be right back at it after a week. They should be demoted a few PvP ranks or given a one month ban for the same effect.
