We all know Blizz loves the horde and all the little kids that think the red team is ‘cooler’.
So AV was created back when Horde didnt have Paladins and the mount speed increase buff.
Now, everytime, in korracks rev the horde can get to the first bunker and gy before alliance can even cross the field and get to galv.
If Alliance go for korrack (usually do) Horde can burn the 2 bunkers and cap shgy before Alliance kill korrack
Another nice job by Blizzards PvP department and testing stuff before releasing…
so should they hotfix an almost finished, limited time event bc you lost to a group that played the strat game better? That small map difference doesn’t affect much-- it’s usually 'cause a team will run past towers like it’s a normal AV, letting an entire minute pass before running up.
From playing Ally, most of mine have been fun, crushing wins. The losses have been because people abandon towers, never push forward, are getting lost in side-fights, aggro’ing tons of elites, etc…
The first week of Korrak’s Revenge was hard. Players were actually engaging with the battleground as it was meant to be played. It was chaotic and tough, but it was also fun. If you participated last year, you’d have learned a thing or two from that experience as well.
During that initial week, even the fully geared players in their purple gear, including those in premades, were struggling. They were getting wiped out in 1-3 hits and calling for help.
But by the second week, the NPCs had been toned down, and geared players, along with premades, started to dominate. They were farming honor like crazy.
It’s not that the Horde is necessarily better, it’s the same players as the Alliance, just switching to different alts or accounts to manipulate faction dynamics. The casual players, the ones who don’t often PvP or who just joined for the anniversary event, are often just trying to enjoy the epic AV experience of old. But instead, they’re getting blamed by the more vocal players, who want to push their own agenda.
A good example of this is when someone tells you to kill Korrak outside of Korrak’s Revenge. It’s not because they’re trying to help you, it’s because they want to drive you out of the game so they can manipulate the system, farming honor or achievements with less interference.
lol then explain this…
the amount of times Horde gets ‘convenient’ rez timers so they can interrupt a cap after they just died.
meanwhile my rez timers are ‘conveniently’ above 20 seconds 95% of the time.
could just be me noticing these kind of things though…
the drooling is caused by my anti psych medication thankyou!!
Rez timers start ticking the moment a BG starts (including the time before the gates open), they are the same length for both factions and it depends on when you die as to the length of the next timer.
If you can manage to die as close to each 30 second mark, you should have a fairly short timer, they have a maximum somewhere around 30-32 seconds.
They used to be exactly 30 seconds, but there were weakauras for it, so now the game picks a random number between 30 and 32 ish seconds each time a BG starts.
