Autounshift WTF Setting

I have been using the same druid powershift and form shift macro for all of classic and TBC with no problems. But as of yesterday, they do not work. The problem is the config-cache WTF file (Blizzard>World of Warcraft>Classic>WTF>Account>“Account Name”>config-cache.wtf) is defaulting the value of AutoUnshift to “0” instead of “1”. I can change the value to “1” and save the file, but it will change back to “0” at some point when I notice my macros not working again.

I’ve seen other posts with this problem, but no resolutions.

You definitely have the WoW client completely closed (check task manager) when you edit the file right?

It happens to me now too, whenever I target anything. I can even call /console autoUnshift 1 to put it back but it always goes back after selecting anything.

So I found the setting overriding it for me. Interface->Controls->Auto Dismount in Flight. This was what I wanted to auto shift out of flight form.
