This is super weird and I am trying to isolate the root cause of this problem. I am starting believe this issue is actually not caused by the Logitech G502 mouse.
I have the G7 button the mouse mapped to “DOWN” (aka the down arrow). This is my characters autorun in game and it has been working for years (ever since Classic launched in 2019?). However pressing this button does nothing in game now. I tried to map G8 to “DOWN”, but that also did work.
In my normal desktop profile, G7 is used to “Switch Between Apps”, which works fine. So I know the physical button on the mouse is not broken.
Also in WoW, if I press the DOWN arrow on my keyboard, my character autoruns forward, so I know it is not a in-game WoW keymapping issue.
I changed G7 to map to spacebar (jump) and actually worked fine. Because of this, I am thinking there is some weird bug that occurred in the latest WoW update something that straight up caused the autorun to break when used with a G502?
Edit: I also tried to map it to the WoW command “Autorun”, but that did not work either.
