I know that the forcing of moving across the world adds to the excitement of the world and stuff…
But surely this isn’t something that’s a gold sink or worth having in right?
When someone can unlock daggers or staves, or whatever (whatever level it is) it just unlocks automaticlaly. Or if there’s no level requirement, then you can just wear them from the get go?
Would make it more fun to find an item and just use it instead of selling/throwing away because you haven’t travelled across the world to Darnassus or Undercity to learn it.
I think the journey to Darnassus to learn bows at level 10 was what kept my HC rogue alive until 60. Didn’t wanna waste the trip.

Why would you sell it or throw it away? Just go take the trip and learn the skill. It’s not even hard, just some travel time in the world. As a QoL, it doesn’t serve a huge benefit but just minimize the immersion in a world. One could argue of maybe having other capital city trainers in each city, but that just detracts why having them be different anyways. Just make them all able to teach everything. It’s flavor and doesn’t cost much in inconvenience. I don’t see a big benefit of changing this. I’d rather see a stormwind harbor taking you to auberdine than this, but that separation of the two continents really makes it feel more epic and a bigger world than it is. They should have did that with the horde side and zeppelins too to be honest. You won’t be missing out much if you wait until lvl 20 to learn some weapon skills anyways.
