Well, I just came back to the game… ( I know) somehow I managed to click something … that automounts me everywhere… how can I get rid of it, please
Could it be that you have one of your mount icons bound to a key you keep pressing? For example, I have my mount key " " bound to the 12th key in my toolbar. So, when I want to mount/dismount I only need press the key.
That doesn’t exist unless maybe some addon that does it (though I know of none). You should replace each button on your bar by clicking and dragging the respective button from your spellbook back to the bar to remove any macro abilities that is likely causing it.
There is a setting that dismounts you, if mounted, if you press a spell/ability with something targeted and in range, but not anything that auto mounts you.
have tried everything imaginable… it is just ridiculous and annoying still cannot get rid of Automount
Try a full UI reset:
There’s no such thing as automount in WoW. After the reset, check your addons, your keybinds and your macros.
I sure hope you can get it to stop.
I know I’m a bit late, I hope you have already found the answer to your question about the Auto Mount.
Dugi Guides has an Auto Mount option with the in-game Dugi Guides Settings. Click the DG icon on the mini-map–auto mount–unselect auto mount.
