Auto loot is needed

The worst thing about this game is having to find the shiny corpse and loot it.

Even old games like Everquest have a better loot system.

Make the loot auto, like every modern MMORPG

my top feelsgood.jpg moment in this game was in torghast where you select the box talent that auto loots anything you kill

yeah I just stopped looting all together because of how tedious it is. I am probably missing out on tons of stuff I just can’t do it anymore. I mainly PvP and keys so that is probably part of the problem, it has trained me to be used to not looting

What do these other MMOs do about stuff that players don’t want in their bags? Make the user delete unwanted stuff from the bags?

I could see auto loot working in a system that let’s the user define things to auto-delete, but that seems a little complex for Blizz.

Theres literally an option for auto loot.

You almost have to use it because if you stop to loot, your tank will be 6 rooms ahead.

I’d probably still find myself manually checking to make sure I looted everything, seeing as how they can’t seem to get WoW’s current auto-loot feature working correctly.

Most MMOs you have a menu that pops up and you can choose what to loot. Automatically once you kill a mob. No clicking corpses.

maybe try those then? idk

why not just click the corpse as you defeat the mob?

Would pay $50 and/or do lengthy quest for autoloot pet! Or better yet, thingie to add to all my battlepets that makes them autoloot.

Dont they have this in WoW China?

Let pet companions loot for players. Then in the menu allow for people to set loot rules for companions.

SAME
First time I’ve ever just skipped looting like 99% of bodies.

That’d actually give pets a reason to exist.

I see that at least one person in this thread appears to be clicking Shift to auto-loot. I have my settings configured so that clicking on the lootable target auto loots without pressing anything. Then I hold Shift and click to get the loot window so I can choose specific items. If you configure your game settings this way, it might solve your particular problem.

I set interactive key to my mouse scroll wheel, so whenever something dies I just mouse scroll down to loot everything.

The only issue is that it shares a keybind with my zoom out. You’d think it would be a problem, but I constantly zoom in and out as I’m playing anyway.

they have a toggle, it says “on/off”. It’s not overly complex.

They let you set up filters so you don’t loot those items. LOTRO has this system and it works great.

So if your bags fill up, you have to go manually delete everything you don’t want?
