Auto Loot functioning inconsistently

Since the patch, I’ve noticed that the Auto Loot functionality is no longer working consistently. I’ve had various single corpses, piles of corpses, and chests do nothing when I initially loot them. This forces me to close the window and loot them a second time, which kind of defeats the purpose of having the feature enabled to begin with. If I hadn’t initially noticed that it was failing, I might have missed looting some corpses entirely.

I believe everyone is having this issue. If I had to take a guess, it’s server side lag due to the amount of people logging on at once for the pre-patch event while it’s also processing all the new Warbands data for each account that logs in the first time.

Edit: You’ll also notice skills not coming off and a longer delay between skill usage and it actually registering. Which is what led me to believe it’s Server lag.

Inside instances this does not happen whatsoever.

The loot issue is most prominent for me inside instances, actually; when I did the warband bank portal quest in Tanaris last night, I didn’t see the problem.

I’m getting inside Instances and in the open world. Its hit or miss when it happens and on what dead mob/chest/etc it will happen to.

bumping this because i have been having the same issue since prepatch launch and its still not fixed. I thought it was a MOP remix issue at first but it seems to be happening in retail also

Any large number of corpses, say, 20 or 100, usually I have to click once, then move, and then when I click again, the looting happens.

On Remix when I killed 100s of sprites, I’ve had to do this a half dozen times or more to get them all looted.

Not much of a problem but I do agree, it happens.

I haven’t seen any issues looting small numbers of corpses.
