I, and many of my friends, have noticed when you have auto loot set, sometimes when you loot, it just pops up the loot window but doesn’t auto loot. You either have to step forward and loot again or click on each piece of loot. In these “head on fire” dungeon runs, it slows you down.
But why is this happening at all? Another bug for you to look at Blizz…
Sometime it auto-loots, sometimes it doesn’t, it’s very random. At first I just chalked it up to laggy servers since it’s the first week of an expansion and servers are packed with players in most zones… didn’t pay too much attention to it
But now - in the second week where the servers have mostly calmed down - I noticed it was randomly not auto-looting last night while questing… despite my internet connection/ms being fine
I also have been having this issue while out in the open world or running the delves/dungeons. It’s extremely annoying when I finish combat and go to auto loot and it gets hung up on a static loot screen forcing us to click individually but wont loot. Sadly that isn’t all, sometimes it will not even let me loot at all. The loot window opens when right clicking it and immediately disappears without giving me loot.
Blizz…I honestly don’t understand how a multi billion dollar company can produce such unfinished, unpolished content…please get it together.
Several bugs/glitches that wiped out months and sometimes years of player progress (literally) are still active and “live” ever since 11.0 prepatch
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it really seems like either 11.0 itself or Warbands feature somehow “broke” the longtime stability of the game just judging by the sheer amount of bugs we are witnessing the last 6 weeks or so - something DEFINITELY went wrong somewhere in that pile of spaghetti-code
So i can tell you from a simple stand point why this and the auction house were experiencing issues like this. Its littearaly someone trying to scale cloud services to the games requirements at a subpar level that was already pre-establishes. The auction house and loot systems run on a tertiary system besides movement spell casts and xp/currency. To try to pinch pennys in the most rediculous mannor it would seam a manager somewhere decided to try to slow the amount of resources the servers for off services was lower then what was needed. This would ultimately only save the company literally pennys a year and cost them far more in lost players due to the constant inconveniences they keep incurring. Blizz might wanna jump on this and fix the issue asap because people are already canceling subs.
This loot bug is happening to me everywhere, especially inside my Garrison’s.
I’ve picked herbs in my Garrison’s pretty much every day since WoD was current (eleven years) and it’s only the past week or so that I need to stop and click the dang box every…single…time… I loot one of the herb nodes. I have over 60 Garrisons! Also, this does NOT happen to every character. Some characters can pick all the herbs like normal without the window pop-ups, others cannot pick anything with out the pop-ups, and then it’s a total random mix for other characters.
It’s crazy pants! and a HUGE waste of time!
It feels like game management has taken a dive off a cliff. I wonder if this is what we can expect from Microsoft going forward? It’s certainly not the quality that paying customers deserve.
This is super annoying and started with the pre-patch. I noticed it happens more if you are in the habit of looting quickly as something dies. If you wait a few seconds it seems to happen much less or not at all. If you X the window and loot again, it will auto loot.
This isn’t gamebreaking by any means, just annoying. Guild banks should absolutely get fixed first, but I would like for this to evenutally get attention.
