So after the 1.5 hour “issues” with the login servers, I finally get logged back in and my backpack is saying add an Authenticator for the four extra slots of space…I’ve had the mobile authenticator app on my phone and paired to my blizzard account since the day it was launched… anyone else having this problem?
Was about to make a thread about this same problem.
Im guessing things like the transmog (and obviously bag space) are tied to the authentication servers which is what is having issues. Hope once the servers are fixed everything will be back to normal.

Yes, the Authentication servers were down. They are slowly coming up. It can take up to 10 mins to load chars right now.
Once you get in you may find transmogs, Auth/SMS Protect bag slots, etc missing. Don’t change anything!
It will all get resolved.

Yup, hopped to the account page to verify my authenticator is still active, it is.
Missing bag slots and my wings and wendigo transmog sets.
Everyone has issues right now with Bnet account linked transmogs, the 4 bag slots, etc.
You are safe, just don’t mess with things. Somehow the game is not picking up the Bnet account flagging that should be transmitted through the Auth server.
Yep! Just noticed this too. Worries me because…I had things in those slots that are not elsewhere in my bags now.
Ouch. Well hopefully that does not end up causing an issue. Now you have me thinking about all the charts I have with full bags ![]()

Just keep an eye on it for a few days and if it turns out stuff is really gone and they don’t have a solution you can ticket. This is such an odd issue it may take time to create tools for CS to deal with missing bag items IF it happens. If. Hoping it all comes back for you (and me).
Panic averted! I relogged and they were then in my mailbox. Phew!
I still have the error of Bag slots, so I assume they are working on that - But at least nothing was lost!

Had this happening all day as well. Sometimes the extra slots are there, sometimes they are not.
If my extra bag slots are missing, what about the stuff that was in those bag slots? I keep my most important stuff, for each toon, in their respective backpacks.

For what it’s worth, I didn’t lose at least one of the items on the bottom row in my bag when Retail experienced amnesia about my Authenticator. It showed up in a higher row where I typically keep an empty slot so my mage’s mana treats have a place to go.
Yes, I am VERY worried to log in to any character right now…
I was leveling my Mag’har Orc, and got a message that ‘I don’t have enough bag space.’ I looked and 3 of my 4 30-slot bags are now 10-slot bags, the main bag has lost its 4 squares and is asking me to get an authenticator, AND the items in the 30-slot bags are gone!

Guessing that there are still issues. Logged in this morning and the rewards and bag slots are gone again.
got the authenticator set up tonight but the slots are not appearing and the core pop not given. Does it take a couple hours or something to recognize it?
