WHY, do I need an authenticator to be able to list my groups keys ~ Pay for subs but don’t get access to everything in the game?! Cool give me guild chat on my phone and what not and yay for 6 extra inventory slots? why not an extra bag slot? those imo are “extras” not needed. but when I can’t list my group members key as a +5 key feel like im just being “monitored”

It was done to combat the spam listings from RMT and other sellers clogging up the group finder.

To stop people from selling boost/runs with a RMT site supposedly…but like everything it didnt work. Now that Mike is out maybe MS will do something soon.

I don’t really care by the way I’m just bored lol. But I think most people would agree that not being able to adjust title of my group is more of a hindrance, and should be included with sub. and I do not mean adding the ilvl criteria etc. leave that to the authy bois access. But to prevent people from creating groups is a dumb design
atleast Square Enix in FFXI gives you a whole extra inventory with authy, not just 5 or 7 slots

As many people point out time and again, the fight against bots and RMT is an Arms race. And as long as there’s a market in the playerbase Blizz is gonna lose ground.

well considering its not much different than just “printing” money. Id think they feed their own problem
god yes just go to the site they post , on a PC you dont play wow on, or or ask one how much they tell you straight out! they want real money.

Let’s be real here. The game shows more info in the description when you list without an authenticator than 99% of key listings with an authenticator.

It’s very likely some in office did. But it creates a lot of problems. So it’s very likely that we’ll see Microsoft crack down on it once the dust settles on their take over. Like they did with ESO

agreed mosty- I would like to post a key for someone else but you cant with out the authenticator.

If I am group lead and my party member has a +5, ToT and I list ToT, it does not list it as a +5 unless you have auth to change description

Make your party member lead. It’ll auto-populate the key in their bags.

its simple, add a Key check feature and allow party lead to choose the key within party

yea, I dont have an issue listing keys and being lead. but blizzard doesn’t raise players the same. Most players do not want lead and in most cases it causes more issues. plus changing leads just to post the “properly labeled” key as in, zoning into a Normal, and having to reload since as the party lead changes so does party settings. Its just silly is all, We pay for the game and literally are excluded access to playing it “properly”
