Activating an authenticator and using it to log in does not allow 4 extra bag slots or the ability to add a note to listings on the LFG utility as advertised.
You should have activated the SMS notifications at the same time, both are required for the extra spots. Might simply be a refresh issue, give it a bit and totally log out of the launcher and game, then login fresh.
