Is Blizzard planning on doing a pet or mount for the relief?I’ve seen them do other relief’s.
Considering there is so many services where you can donate too, from every part of the Globe, why is everyone asking Blizzard to do something?
And before you ask, I am a Sydneysider, having to breathe the thick smoke nearly every day. Don’t think I am making this comment as if to say, I don’t care with what is happening down here.
Because blizzard cares so much, not like they had to be called out on their CoD being Australian themed while Australia was burning so they send a part of the profits there to save face.
If you want to donate, corporations dont care, it is just PR
Epissapphire, I think that’s a great idea! There are many people who’ve donated to various causes, and many more who’ve not. I can’t think of a better way for a WoW player who wouldn’t normally send any donation, to contribute to helping by purchasing a special pet that Blizz creates for the cause.
I think that people who are from that area assume that everyone is aware of their homeland current events as they are , but I assure them, not everyone is aware. Even when many are, they don’t have to live it, breathe it, and therefore don’t think of it.
Tossing $10 to Activision/Blizzard for a pet to help support a great effort just brings more awareness, and help.
It would be cool if they did, but seeing how the forums rake them over the coals every time they do one I am guessing they’re a bit gun shy at this point.
Blizz ANZ donated items to a bush fire relief charity stream as prizes, at least: https://twitter.com/Blizzard_ANZ/status/1218035427807985669?s=19
Not trying to sound calloused, but what does this have to with Blizzard?
Just because Blizzard is a company doesn’t mean they’re obligated to police disasters everywhere.
No , everytime that there is a disaster, we don’t need a dumb charity wow event.
