They leaked the items from August trading post already and it does not look too good folks… new Warsaber and wolf mounts but they do not look that great. An archery target back item, it’s very small. recolor of an axe and new murloc pet. There’s also new warglaives that maybe look decent but I don’t play DH so will never use them. A returning mount, the Cindermane charger. Butterfly wings and 1H mace.
Looks like another save month for me. What about you guys?

I don’t really mind the month. Will likely grab the mounts if they are not the monthly reward. Ive seen the elite pvp weapon mogs and can say with certainty will be using those for a while.
Most of this year has been save months for me. That isn’t to say I haven’t bought anything. I always usually buy hood/cape scarf/cape and an occasional tabard if the color is nice. I don’t much care for the brown trim on the blue one this July. The transmogs are hit or miss. I like July’s diving set, but am waiting for that recent cash shop purchase, the Gladiator one that was representative of Lo’Gosh’s (Varian) armor. That was datamined to come in both red and blue. I would definitely scoop those up when they appear.
I tend to stay away from the mounts. There are some cool ones, but I can only one ride one at a time and there isn’t any enormous #mount meta collection achievement added to the game other than the recent collect 500 for special otter. Though I do like the look of that Horde saber and would grab the Alliance wolf as well to go with it.
Regarding weapons, it isn’t that they aren’t nice. I just don’t think Blizzard has replicated the quality of art that were the artifact weapons; the hidden skin unlocks, to the balance of power, the pvp variants, and the mage tower ones. Blizzard weapons don’t look as nice, IMO, save for a few here and there.
This is old news. Check out September. It’s a slap in the face.
I think people at this point need to accept that the Trading Post largely consists of mundane items and recolors of mundane items, + some pets and mounts to pad collections. Maybe a cool class-themed weapon in a month, but that won’t be relevant to most people at the same time.
If you’re expecting the Blood Troll or Jester or 3 different Class Sets every month, it’s clearly not something Blizzard is keen on keeping up with.
Which is fine, it is what it is. But they clearly frontloaded the Trading Post as a feature, and what we’re seeing more recently is what it actually is.
We need sports themed mogs.

Blizzard is to be commended for how much personal time they spend with customers. Personally slapping us in the face? Not many companies can boast that.
Some people even pay extra for that kind of treatment.

This is legit the whiniest, most spoiled brat energy thing to complain about. Its literally free stuff you are getting for doing exactly what you would be doing.
nah , they set a bar with the first few months of TP when it first started. now they are giving worse stuff plus they are making the garbage worth 100 tenders as the monthly reward and the actual good stuff that should be the reward for tender.
