Hello I need some help, I have my BIS trinkets already, but this rare one came up in the vault and i don’t have much in the vault, i need help. This one is ranked as hero so bit higher in ilvl.
AND it sims less than the ones I have, so is it weak? will it be buffed? can any feral druid let me know or Rouge or anyone else, im not that smart with these things so im confused on what to do… to go with it hold on to it or not?
I would make sure to sim it at max upgrade (you can max out how much currency you have if you use raidbots) a couple times and see. If it sims less, then it’s probably safe to toss, or at least bank. Stuff like trinks, rings, and necks can be weird in that depending on stats or effects, lower ilvl ones can still be quite a bit better.
A m0 trinket was BiS for Arcane s1.
i just did it and its still weaker somehow when its higher ilvl, is trinket bugged or something im not sure… or is the sim broken?
The downsides of the trinket are two-fold.
Has a secondary stat instead of main stat.
The proc effect has a cap on how much damage it can deal even if you crit a lot.
Compared to something like the Tindral trinket which has main stat as well as control over how you deal the damage, while also doing far more.
No. I just wouldn’t use the trinket.

Some trinkets are better than others based upon the spec. It’s a decent trinket for a lot of classes, so don’t feel like it’s weak because it doesn’t do much for you.
Its weird how this trinket doesn’t sim well. I won it in my vault yesterday…sim said it wasn’t better than my current trinkets…which surprised me. So I spent about an hour beating on dummies afterwards trying out different combinations of trinkets and I consistently saw better DPS with this trinket.
