Now that we have voting for our Season 4 Tier Set Bonus - I want to make one final effort to help this Amirdrassil Set Bonus actually be worthwhile in PvP. This set bonus was a HUGE Nerf in Arena, as we lose 15% empowered damage with spells for Fissures that take all of our GCDs, an important talent point, and some luck to really utilize.
Being that Augmentation has almost zero representation in PvP, we are bound to get the PvErs favorite Set Bonus which is clearly the Season 3 Set Bonus (Personal damage doesn’t really matter much in PvE for Aug).
If we get stuck with the dreadful Season 3 Tier Set for PvP as Augmentation - please consider the following below for a PvP only change (Probably wouldnt change much but be a quality of life boost in PvE as well as PvP)
- Extend the duration of the new Tier 4 Set Trembling Earth Buff from 15 seconds to 30 seconds in PvP. The major problem here is that Prescience has an 11-12 second cooldown, and the Fissures from the 4 set only last for 15 seconds. This creates a 3-4 second gap where refreshing prescience becomes #1 most important, or you lose all your damage from your previous prescience stacks. With the amount of crowd control (And Micro Crowd Control) in the game, this is very easy to CC off the Fissures buff (Whether intentional or not by the enemy player). Extending the duration of the Fissures 4 set buff to 25-30 seconds would help remedy this (Our rotation/setup would feel dramatically less button bloated), and would still encourage us to refresh Prescience for the crit buff.

From a Rated Arena PvP Perspective, we’re screwed if we get stuck with Season 3 Set Bonus Again. It sucks because there is no representation for Augmentation in PvP, but TONS of representation in PvE.
Augmentation has VERY different priorities in PvP than PvE. In PvP we are haste stacking, teammate buffing, crowd control point guards, looking to find offensive pressure through small but frequent burst windows. In PvE we are just maintaining support buffs throughout the group, stacking mastery, and not very concerned with our personal damage at all.
Because of a lack of PvP representation, we are doomed to whatever set bonus performs best in PvE, which is the TREMENDOUSLY and FUNDAMENTALLY flawed Fissure Set Bonus.
I like the Season 3 Set Bonus But the duration is far too short in PvP - The Fissures expire after 15 seconds, prescience has a 12 sec cd, we get a 3 second window to refresh or we lose the fissures from the last 2 prescience GCDs.
As a PVP Guardian Druid i feel your pain, everyone is voting purely for PVE reasons (Season 2) and Season 3 Guardian Tier has been an absolute BANGER in PVP.

It’s tough, I like the polling idea on paper, but PvP participation right now is pretty desolate compared to usual, and PvE still holds the vast majority of the player base, especially for Augmentation Evoker in particular.
I wouldn’t mind if they let us have all the set bonuses, and we can piece them together / swap them out as we prefer. More customization options not a bad thing.
Just a really weird approach to have PvErs and PvPers vote against each other. Especially when a good deal of the Augmentation votes probably aren’t even by Evoker mains (Just need a level 70 of the class, which takes 4hrs to get with timewalking dungeons from evoker creation)
I mean plain and simple, there should just be separate votes. I don’t want you all to have a tier that sucks, but not a chance I want season 2. It’d be pretty easy to have a tier set switch when entering instanced pvp.

I totally agree with this, and they use to have separate tier pieces for PvP and PvE. I think it’s pretty evident it needs to return that way. The 2 set for the prescience duration is possibly the most useless set bonus ever introduced into PvP for any spec or class. You still have to spam it off CD to gain fissures on the 4 set
