So I’ve been playing aug and having a good time.
Just curious, will I have a good time/ez invites for pug 2s 3s and up to 10s?
I mean, the good time part is subjective and completely up to you.
Aug doesn’t thrive with subpar DPS, which you’re obviously more likely to experience in the low keys, so you’ll have less agency on how the key goes as Aug than you would as dev. If that’s not a problem for you then go for it.
Provided you have a good io and item level for the content you’re pugging, invites will be relatively easy.

This is just 1 example but when my friend is the leader and its his key he will not take aug in low keys unless maybe they where with the tank as a group. It’s too unpredictable if either of the other dps is useless the aug is also pretty useless no matter how good they are. Its safer to take an actual dps in low keys, In high keys you kind of know everyone had to be “good” enough to get to that point so the aug is more valuable to the more competent dps players

Yeah I mean I’m 627 on my Aug and I don’t run it below a 10 anymore --I’ve even started running dev in 10s, especially if we’re gearing an alt. It’s just so much slower if you don’t need the safety.
Yes, but most people think that augs brings nothing compared to an actual dps, so you’ll need to apply multiple times. I tried to farm +4s as Dev for weekly quest and my god, it was painful not being able to carry tanks and healers with ebon might xd
A dev evokers throughout in a 4 is still infinitely more valuable than an Aug buffing two (likely) mediocre DPS and giving some extra primary stat to your tank and heals.
There’s not enough damage going out in a 4 that killing the packs much faster isn’t much easier on the tank and heals.
