Aug feels very good outside of instances now (good job on Chronowarden)

My biggest problem with Aug was never its thematics, or its super divisive nature regarding its ‘role’ and function in a group like so many complain about. It was always about how it felt as a stand-alone solo experience in contrast to how it felt inside m+ or raids.

Most of Dragonflight after Aug came out it always felt… lackluster in world content, never really feeling like a good choice in comparison to Dev or even Pres since both had access to disintegrate.

I really feel like with Chronowarden it feels very good to play in all content now, between Chrono Flames and the extra free Chrono Flames per empowered cast I think it has largely solved the bad feeling/weak feeling solo issue that kept me away from playing it outside of swapping from Dev when it was needed.

All this post is really is just saying good job on Chronowarden really, it’s made Aug feel good to play all the time instead of just raid time or dungeon spam.

Yeah, like I said in another post, Chronowarden pleasantly surprised me with its boosts to Living Flame and Hover. Afterimage is simply a very cool talent, and packs a ridiculous amount of visual punch when hitting multiple targets. Warp looks great, and I enjoy leaving behind motes for my teammates to pick up in group content. When I’m solo, the damage reducer is also very nice.

It definitely makes Augvoker feel like an actual DPS spec.

Its insane for pres too, the dmg I’m doing is ridiculous. I’m actually just questing as pres instead of dev now I burst so much harder.

Same, it doesn’t hurt that my int weapons are stronger than my agi ones since I plan on maining pres at endgame. But in general I feel like questing as pres isn’t much slower, and you have more healing tools to boot.
