So most rotation guides state that in your opener, you should cast your empowered abilities before casting breath of eons. Which is simple enough. But I’m starting to wonder why before and not after?
Is it just a timing thing to help keep the abilities in sync with the rest of your other spells?
When using fire and upheaval, the only benefit towards your buffing is lengthening the time of Ebon Might. So if breath of eons does more damage based on the damage by you and your ebon might targets and upheaval is one our hardest hitting abilities, wouldn’t it make sense to use BoE before fire breath and upheaval to maximize how much BoE does?
Especially considering that BoE also extends EM on use.
