I’m still making sales, but not like I was, MUCH MUCH slower and fewer items, and items I used to be able to sell well above other people’s prices because I have so much stock now go unsold unless I am willing to undercut 2k gold items by 1k, like other people do now. Selling in bulk no longer gets me sales despite having higher prices, and the people who kill markets with drastic undercuts are just winning the battle. And yes, undercutting, and by a lot, is very much still a thing.
I think it’s funny that there were people on here posting that they used to ignore sellers who only undercut by a copper to “reward honest sellers who didn’t undercut by a copper” and aren’t now rewarding those of us not undercutting by 20-80% of an item’s price by buying our stuff instead. Stupid notion lol. Not sure how undercutting by a copper was ever dishonest, but I sure think undercutting by 50g on an 80g gem is ridiculous, and now there is no benefit to posting more at a higher price, because you aren’t going to sell them while Blizz rewards whomever posted lowest last.
