Just put a limit on the number of auctions a player can have on there entire account say 50 auctions. So if they want to list 50 pieces of netherweave.
Guess what they are out of auction listings and probably won’t sell anything.

Just bring the Retail AH unless it is “impossible” to port over.

Disable AH Access to addons while the AH issues are fixed.

The rate limiting is too extreme and needs to be dialed back some. It’s made the AH unusable with addons like Auctionator. The default AH is primitive, it provides no tools for checking/cancelling undercuts, (which is the bulk of where I’m encountering “Internal Auction Error”), nor adequate protection from popular AH scams. Either provide us tools for these necessary features with the default UI, or stop preventing us from using addons that fill in feature gaps.
P.S. “Internal Auction Error” as an error message is super uninformative 
P.S.S. A big +1 to the other folks on this thread who suggested putting a cap on single posts for an item. Not only is creating hundreds of single posts for an item a popular tactic with scammers, but the cap would significantly reduce AH traffic overall.
As a Jewelcrafter, we cant stack sale gems, we can only post single gems.
I will often cut 5 of each popular gem and put them all up at the same time, upwards of 40-50 total, single items.
This AH limiting feels like a punishment for something I have no control over.

I am still at work so haven’t gotten to play today. But, what limiting? At least from the post he didn’t say anywhere that we’re being punished for posting single auctions. Is this another change not mentioned in the OP?
It just says:
- Implemented settings changes intended to lower the time it takes to search the Auction House.
- Players who list, bid, buy out, or cancel a very large number of auctions may now incur a delay between consecutive actions.
Am i missing something? Or are the “settings changes” actually penalizing single postings? Because if so I’m screwed…
This is confusing, just add the retail AH.
Doesn’t harm anyone and you guys can’t fix this mess so might as well.
The ‘limiting’ we are referring to, is the speed at which we can post, and the errors that come from that.
In my example, if I try and post 50 total gems using an addon, I would very likely receive multiple errors and have to reload my UI many times.

In my server FAERLINA, still rlly laggy and we can’t do nothing.
I would support this.
I don’t believe in limiting the number of total auctions a person can have, but I’ve no problem with a reasonable limit of auctions per item.

Oh okay thanks for the update. I was able to login and try it out. I haven’t hit any of the problems yet. I’m using TSM to post items. I don’t know about the other addons, but with TSM you have to click “post” manually. I was able to just spam it to post all my items as I normally do and I didn’t have any problems. Not sure if the changes have to do with server population as well somehow, but so far seems normal on my side (I am not on a full server though)
On faerlina its really bad today, and i don’t even post a lot of things, im trying buy mats to craft like 50 potions and the lag is bad
I use TSM too, and I have to count out 2 seconds in my head between clicking post each time, otherwise, I hit errors.
weird, the changes must have something to do with how many people are posting at the same time or something then. Yeah, because I’m just spamming everything as I usually do
isn’t this already a thing? I use the TSM addon and it tells me when I’m at a max postings for an item. Honestly not sure if that’s a TSM specific thing or if that’s blizzard AH limitations.
That’s not an actual max (as in you can’t post anymore). It’s a limit set by your groups in TSM that prevents you from dumping your entire stock onto the AH all at once.
