This is a great suggestion! if its in the AH, keep it in the AH. As for kind of 1 hour wait, i dont know if Blizz still requires that kind of wait period in order to combat scammers and bots and gold sellers, per OP request of “right then and there”. Thats a differnent story. Having it all streamlined through the AH makes total sense.
“Waaah! I attacked someone for no reason, but everyone else is the problem!” You keep choosing to not be decent.
zoolander gif would also work xD
This discussion is interesting and all, but the AH has worked this way since launch, if not the Beta, and it works perfectly well.
I cannot see them re-engineering all that ancient spaghetti code for a tiny little QoL change that saves you a couple of seconds here and there.
I actually prefer the current way. There’s always a mailbox right outside the AH so it’s easy enough to stop and get my stuff.
Another issue (a me problem lol) is that I’m a super pack rat and my bags are THE worst organized, so I like being able to watch and see what slot my item goes into. Granted if Blizz did change it, I’d adapt and who knows? Maybe have organized bags not likely lol
Unrelated but prudent, nonetheless. The ancient spaghetti code in my opinion needs to be addressed by a full strike team hired on by Blizzard literally just to update the game from the ancient content to today.
The number of bugs that rear their head in the most random places in the game is only getting worse. I just read a forum post yesterday about how going to Argus at all will brick your character. You literally physically cannot log in to that character if you try going there. I wish they’d invest in the engine recoder thing I brought up, but they probably won’t go through all that trouble. At the very least there needs to be way more quality assurance. Sometimes it feels like things are being held together by laffy taffy.
No. When I buy something on amazon it doesn’t appear in my closet.
How often do you buy things in person at… Auction Houses…
I buy them from my dinosaur wth are you talking about
Baby you brought up real life. How often do you go to an auction house in real life? Because 90% of them have the merchandise on site. Your Amazon analogy makes no sense lol
I BUY IT FROM MY DINOSAUR IN REAL LIFE
you are the one who brought up real life in your OP lol
Amazon must be a new startup company in Undermine then!
Again you are the one who brought up real life
Man these crazy pills are STRONG today. WHOO WHEE!
yup ya took the whole bottle
At least I have my padded room and purple elekk plushie to tide me over.
“This is how thing have always worked”
Why do people say this like it’s some kind of blueprint for all human life? Are we just blind to change or what?
We wouldn’t even be on the internet right now if we used this “this is how it’s always been” mindset unironically.
i like going to the mailbox
why can’t we just enter coordinates and teleport everywhere
why can’t we just log in and have our gear auto upgraded every week
why even play the game
I agree 1000000%. I hate that phrase and mindset.
Maybe my idea is dumb or worded poorly. That’s fine. But “This is how things have always worked”/ “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mindsets are really weird to me. Like my own mind can’t fathom not trying to make things better or more efficient. If everyone thought this way, we’d still be living in the dark ages.
I think this is a dramatic comparison personally. And for your information, many PvPers do want this. They want a realm where they can log in and literally just PvP all day without needing to do any honor or conquest farming. Like free gear on vendors that give you anything you want basically. Do I like that? No. I think that would kill the game, but that idea is out there even though you’re making a joke out of it.
You couldn’t think of anything so you just started flinging out extremes.
Cringe.
