Alt toon trying to gear in auction house to be able to play new content.
Filtered by Mail / Head / Level Range 70-70 / Upgrades Only / Rarity (all)
Many pieces of gear are listed, when I mouse over them, they all show level 70. When you go to purchase and hover over the items in the price list, they are all level 80.
Bought a full set only to have them unusable.
has been this way since launch, have also experienced this. please fix.
I don’t think they’re ever going to fix it, which is probably why the tooltips have this
Stats and appearance, sure. The required level to use the item? Its broken. I just bought a whole set for my fresh level 70 and now that they are in my bags, can’t use. Sure the secondary stats and such can vary, but this is very misleading. It is crazy to me that this is still happening. I didn’t even know about it until today and I came here searching for posts about it. Even using the search functions to specify a level range, useable, etc, none of it works. Those should filter out the items that are actually not able to be used but nope!
Agreed, Spent weeks playing to get to lvl 70. Grinding my way to afford good gear and go diving and raiding. Wasted 1500g to own junk i cant use for more weeks.
Spent my $50 for the upgrade expecting to have access to the 70+ gear I drooled over and NOPE.
Everyone either sees this bug first, meaning they do not trust anything to be working in the game and look at the bug forums before playing…or, they buy all this gear and immediately feel ripped off by the game. Basically everyone gets hit by this bug, but it is not prioritized.
This bug is still in the game and I’m on my 3rd alt. How hard can it be to fix? This seems like some low hanging fruit.
Same here. Bought several pieces of armor and a weapon today for a gathering alt, just in case of running into a fight while gathering, and had Upgrades Only, the level range of 70-71 and bought 5 or 6 pieces only for it to be level 80 once they got to my mailbox. They ALL said level 70 on the AH. That is ridiculous! This was never an issue in the past, as far as I recall. There is no option to contact support to get the gold back or even for an issue even close to this to discuss it with someone. It wasn’t a ton of gold, but that’s not the point here.
Still a problem in December. Please fix.
