Auction House Extremely Slow Today

I mean, the funny thing is that I don’t really farm any of the goods I sell outside of current expansion stuff. Most of my transmog catalogue and old world goods are from leveling an alt. I send all BoE’s, Trade Goods, pets, toys, crafted goods, etc. to my AH alt (who purely exists to keep my actual toon’s inventories free from excessive clutter)

Transmog sells very slowly but sells so it easily builds up. Old world goods don’t sell quickly but there is a market for people leveling old professions, etc. So a lot of it is relisted frequently but usually yields a good profit.

I don’t really “Farm” in WoW and I have a stockpile of hundreds of different things to sell.

It’s not like I am a hard core 1% goblin that is constantly flipping, canceling auctions to repost them, etc. and yet I feel pretty punished by this.

Idk, just seems absurd to me.

I hope so… like I said, the new AH revamp has not even been out for a year and its already requiring a throttling bandaid that the old AH didn’t need. That is not a good sign.

In principle, I agree. But this is Blizzard’s house, so you use Blizzard’s rules and Blizzard’s definitions. Arguing outside of those is a surefire way to make Blizzard ignore your input.

That’s moot now, since a moderator moved the thread into General Discussion where it belongs (and where the rules and definitions of the forums allow the discussion to be visible to the developers).

Enough of the offtopic discussion about which forum this belongs in. Now that it’s in GD, I’ll speak my piece.

I’m a buyer, not a seller. This change does nothing to improve my life, and will possibly worsen it. Bulk posting brought down prices. The market will shrink and consequently prices will rise. Perhaps I’ll have to farm crafting mats I would have otherwise bought, or I may just play that part of the game less.

Translating what Blizzard has done into the real world: they’ve banned Walmart in the county. Mom-n-pop shopowners will be happy, but consumers will see less convenience and higher prices.

Where do you think all of the cheap AH items come from? With the vast majority of my auctions are < 2,000g. and now I’ll only be posting things that are 10,000g+ because I literally cannot post cheap items anymore. All prices on the AH will go up because supply will drop and the demand will remain the same.

Maybe Coronavirus made them slowly

well, crybabies or not, if theyre selling mats they make my life easier so I dont have to go farm that crap myself.
Maybe the real agenda here is forcing the rest of us to do our own farming after sellers get irritated enough to stop selling so much.

I know since the ah changed, though i do like HOW it works, Ive been using more four letter words trying to get my crap to post. I had no problems whatsoever before, so something changed for the worse when the updated AH interface.
