Horrible short sighted idea. Once the first wave of mains get revered reps and raid attunes it will kill chances for ‘stragglers’ to get revered reps and attunes.
We saw the same thing happen half way through TBCC, no one was running heroics or doing attunes, was only possible for a fresh 70 to go through everything if they were in a helpful guild or spent 5x longer waiting in LFG than they should have. But with these new changes it will be even worse.
It will also contribute to the problem of “wotlk when” which we also saw during TBCC and was the reason why the expansion ended so soon. Players run out of things to do, that’s why alts exist, to allow the player to have more hours of potential play time. But what happens when they can skip through major parts of the early end-game and go straight to raidlogging? Boredom. Boredom. Boredom.
Too many “QoL” changes are a problem. At what point does “quality of life” become “less content”…

This really should only affect late stragglers. Which my guess is a very small population and while it does suck for those people I think these changes are for the betterment of the game as a whole.
Late stragglers being anyone after the first phase. Really though it’s just removing content that exists for a reason.
I dont have a huge opinion on this topic but i can tell you most people like attunements being easier from just talking to people. I thonk youre fighting a losing battle my friend.
Unfortunately seems is a losing battle. Too many players favour convenience at the detriment of the game overall. Rep grinds and attunes being an integral characteristic of TBC may be loved or hated but it’s still part of the game and I can’t stand to see aspects of the game cut because modern players are lazy and want instant gratification

On a serious note, those 2nd/3rd/4th alts will still be SPAMMING heroics to get pre-bis/p1 bis before p2. If you’re “straggling” after p1 is over, honestly it won’t be any different than it was last time. That’s 100% on you. This should actually HELP you, because the sweats will make more characters, which will prolong heroics in P1 due to people chasing pre-bis/p1 bis on a larger number of characters.
No one is not going to make an alt because of the rep grind and attunes. You’re delusional. It’s just another casual qol change for retail tourists.
Literally wrong. Attunements were the BIGGEST hindrance to creating alts, especially in later phases. Now alts only have to get friendly. People will 100% make more alts than they did last time. You’re cooked. We’re going from 2 raids (Speed + SR) to Mirrors + 2 more. Thats 2 chars to 4. You’re. Cooked.

I think you are forgetting that in later phases of TBC you don’t need the rep - it’s only for early phase raiding, if you really are straggling back for raids anyway, you won’t need rep - i mean if you want rep just for rep - then grind it
