Seriously, this is just a customization. The whole reason I wanted to play remix was for the druid’s forms I missed out on. I was so looking forward to this opportunity to have enjoyable time and try new things with the expansion I had enjoyed immensely. I’ve been a player since 2008, and have paid $15 a month like religiously. On top of that I’m always spending the for the top tier releases of the game expansions. What is these druid skins are only for the players that earn it business, from an expansion that happened like almost ten years ago? If it’s a glitch that suddenly we have the forms, we should be allowed to keep them. The rumor is there is a plan to take them away? That’s a little insulting for players that have played this game, for this long. I played through Legion originally, there was just some of it I couldn’t get done because of time restraints. it’s one appearance, or two I couldn’t complete because it was taken away from being done. It should have been left in the game to have been able to completed, or finished, or to have earned it… So whats the problem with allowing players to earn them in remix? For the next generation of players to earn, that never had the opportunity in the first place. It’s things like this that make players so frustrated that they go some where else to spend their hard earned money.
Part of me understands they want some rewards to be times exclusive for prestiege, and I do understand that for the artifact WEAPON appearences. But Druid shapes are so much more limited than what’s on my characters hip or back. There are literally thousands of models to choose from for weapon appearences, but excluding the mage-tower druid form appearences means for Bear/cat there’s the racial forms, blus what? Six other models, which maybe… three-four palette swaps for colors?
So that’s… at most, 30 appearences for druids to choose from. And the models from the mage tower are SO aspirational for druid class fantasy, easpeically the bear form. Please, reconsider having the druid -form- customizations taken away. The weapon appearances? that’s fine, those can remain locked away and kept for prestiege. But we’re already so limited in customization for druid forms… Don’t narrow the pool even further because some of us apprently ‘had to be there’.

And I can guarantee that most of the people who do have those forms already, want other people to have them or do not care if other people get them. At this point, the only people who seem to really care are the developers, not the players. Just let us keep the forms, please!
I have been playing this game for a REALLY, really long time. I have paid my sub non stop, for over 20 years I have stayed very loyal to WoW cause I always have fun within the content that is created for us players to enjoy. Now I don’t agree with everything of how the story lines have progressed over the years, but it is what it is. And really at the end of the day, it’s about us players having fun with a game that is in constant progression to enjoy not just new content but also old content as well.
At the end of the day regardless who agrees who disagrees, as long as we can talk it out as the adults that we are. That’s the whole point of the forums, is to debate and discuss. I’m supporting fellow players to be allowed to have a chance to earn not just the MT druid skins but also the weapon appearances.
My reasons:
-It’s a time limited event, it’s not staying available forever. So those playing remix now and won’t be available after it’s over until the next event.
-It’s more old content for players to look forward to.
-The entire expansion was focused on the artifact weapon no matter where the story had taken us in Legion.
-Let players who had tried during Legion to defeat mage tower or are brand new players to have a chance.
-The druid skins as well as weapon appearances can be gained in other ways that doesn’t have to involve mage tower if it’s to complicated to bring back. Such as purchasing with the bronze tokens, earned from an achievement by killing a rare, clearing a heroic dungeon, clearing a raid etc.
Anything else to add, it’s 5am and I’m burnt out lol. I’m standing to support players but also aware that what has been decided is what it will be. But I have learned over the years of such decisions never stay final forever. They have changed their minds before. These forums are to here to tell, “Hey, we actually would like this idea.” And maybe something can be done later at another event that WoW comes up with.
Personally I am a player that has defeated mage tower, during Legion it was very difficult for me for guardian druid and restoration. But I still got it done. But I’m not gonna hold it against players in wanting a chance at it once more. Yeah it was near 10 years ago but isn’t that what Remix is about? Since it is going back into the past of what has been played before. And now achieving old and new appearances, mounts, toys, pets, housing etc.
I’ve edit this as I feel I may of over did it with explaining things. When I am really passionate about something, I do over do it. I’m sorry on my part for that. I’m very self critical in what I say or do. So please forgive me. All we can do is hope and see what happens. And regardless of how many trollers may fill this forum. (It’s the internet, it’s to be expected) How ever way other players feel about it. Agree or disagree, I hope you all out there are having fun out there. And enjoy what you can get with Legion Remix.
Why are you all not trying to earn the new skins which are out right now ?
Why stuck on something that is 10 years old and it is for those who played legion and completed the MT.

I totally am going for the other skins and achievements, and so forth, currently. I’m sure others are too. This is my first time starting a thread, for discussion on a topic that struck home. A missed opportunity for quite a few that may share the same thoughts on it, or they may not. It’s just a voiced opinion tossed out there, make of it what you will. Others may, or may not share the same sentiments and that is quite alright.

It’s not fair to allow you to keep what so many had to BUST cheeks for.
Each attempt at the tower was 160 nether shards so we had to farm shards.
Gear up and learn skills for the fact there was fatal mechanics you can’t just button mash and face roll the controls and win.
Having the exclusive time gate & encounter locked item handed out for free is WRONG and should not be done.
Should I be allowed to log in and just have all the removed from game elite gladiator mounts I didn’t earn ??

I’m intelligent enough to see and understand the flip side of everyone just being glitched the forms and having them taken it’s NOT FAIR either …
Only clean move is to re release the M/T and if the player is skilled , Geared , and artifact power is strong enough along with farming the shards per run… LET THEM EARN THE FORMS .
It’s NOT FAIR to have something earned given for free it was exclusive for a reason M/T was hard . I had to beat it on Feral and Guardian it was no easy task it’s not right to see it “glitched” for free and at the same time not right to see if taken due to Blizzards fault.
REMOVE THE UN EARNED FORMS & Re-Deploy the tower let players run it.

Doing that as well. But as someone that didn’t have an opportunity to play during Legion (and as a recent convert to Druid), I was ecstatic that they made the Fel Bear available. I grinded hard at that challenge and finally overcame it, with great pride and accomplishment as a casual player.
I would LOVE the opportunity to at least be given a chance to earn the old forms, and I’m camping and grinding out the new ones too! I have a blast doing this.
Kind of unfair for the players who committed to getting and dedicated part of their lives to checking off challenges.
In comparison to players who did not want to commit.
It is just a bad step. Because if they give this then they have to give the other one and the next and the next.
Then why do players even dedicate time and effort to earn something.
I grinded for Seisbarg mount hoping that it would be next to impossible to get it when the expansion is done just due to amount of grind it takes in a fully party group.
But now I am seeing recolours which makes me sad but sure atleast it is recolour and maybe some one who know how hard it is will appreciate the grind.
Seisbarg mount is a quest that drops from a rare mob.

Sad to say it buddy but you just wasted days upon days of farming to get something that everyone else will always be able to get until wow shuts down permanently.

Days upon days with a dedicated 5 man farming unfathomable amount of mats which don’t even drop 100%
Sure if they kept it original I was certain no one is going to farm it. It is next to impossible or anyone who has way too much time on hand.
But now we have recolours.
And no one is asking for MT skins other than collectors so they can check of a box.
I don’t even have MT. But if I ask now. In the future I will have to part with something I earned.
Like the 2200 PVP set or weapon set.
The grind will get MUCH MUCH easier next expansions
All you do is level to 90, get some gear and steamroll normal ara Kara in 2 minutes.
Do that like 30 times and you got your seisbarg mount in about an hour

I did the seisbarg mount grind in a couple hours by doing ara Kara follower dungeons.
The mobs there all drop the quest items, they drop ALOT of them.

I think it’s cringe for people to pretend they are special because they have mage tower weapons.
Yes I have the mage tower weapons, I hope they return for everyone to get.
The mage tower wasn’t hard, it was extremely easy.
Well they got us this time, but now they know we really want it and we will probably keep subscribing until they cave in and a new thing is dangled.
