I’ve been dealing with this for about two weeks now. I’ve tried disabling my addons. I’ve tried reinstalling (which idk why that would impact it but I tried). Nothing seems to work.
The problem:
I will target one mob, but my abilities will fly/hit another target.
Details:
I play hunter, and this is most noticeable with Tranquilizing Shot, Counter Shot, and Kill Shot. Sometimes my interrupt just won’t interrupt. Same for Counter Shot. There are times when Kill Shot will highlight because I’m targeting the right mob under 20% health, but won’t fire because the ability is trying to go to a mob at 50% health. At first I thought this was player error, but then I started seeing my Rapid Fires and Aim Shots flying off target and things became a bit more understandable.
It feels like my abilities will at time erroneously target the 1) Closest mob, 2) Mob that is between me and my target. Which leads me to think that the game has Action Targeting enabled for some reason, despite it being turned off in my options.
As you can imagine this makes playing in Mythic+ dungeons with limited party resources unreliable and difficult. I’m hoping to get this resolved so I can go back to supporting my party like I want to.
