Attack Power affect both melee and ranged attack power but those stats can be found seperated in Classic like Blessing of Might which is melee AP only (so stop doing it on Hunters unless they meleeweave, do it on their pet instead).
Cruel Barb is not a bad choice in SoD but there’s better alternatives like Armor Piercing. 1 agi gives 2ap + some crit to Hunters for those that don’t know.
