Returning after a lengthy absence.
Can’t remember the keystroke (if there even is one) to get your pet to attack the enemy. I can mouse click on the enemy to get my pet to attack, but that also starts her firing her gun, instead of waiting until after the pet positioned the enemy.
Thanks.
Do you mean /petattack macro or you can just click on the pet attack on the your pet bar.
I’m not sure why you need to “wait for the pet to position the enemy”. If you open with Kill Command your pet will have threat above yours, so your autoattacks will not matter for positioning.
This macro will cause your pet to zoom to the target and instantly start attacking. It also has your pet attack every time you use KC, gives a very small amount of extra dps because this causes your pet to attack faster than just letting the AI do it. I suggest doing it for KC, Cobra Shot and Multi-shot.
#showtooltip Kill Command
/petattack
/cast Kill Command
/use Claw(Basic Attack)
/use Bite(Basic Attack)
/use Smack(Basic Attack)
I have dismount/petattack macro bound to my ~ key.
Same here, ~ is my default /petattack.
I recommend having a separate petattack keybind so you can switch pet target easily. (without having to rely on the cast off macro on other skills to switch immediately)
Thanks for all the inputs.
I had pet attack set to a letter and forgot what it was. I finally was able to get in the settings for all the letters and discovered I’d set the letter T as the attack command.
Since I have my left hand on the numbers 1 - 5, going down a row with one finger to hit T is something I can do without having to look at it, so I can respond faster.
However, I will look at some of the macros you gave me, might be something there that’s better for me.
Thanks again.
