What do you use for making it easy to tell which party/raid members have Atonement? I use ElvUI but am not opposed to switching to a different mod for handling party/raid. The tiny square in the corner of ElvUI just doesn’t cut it.
In looking at past posts I found a video of someone using ElvUI_BuffHighlight to color the healthbar of people with atonement and that seemed a great method. Unfortunately that mod no longer works with Shadowlands.
I’m looking to try out Disc in raids, usually I’m Holy but I’m hoping the SS blanket will help us progress so a good visual indicator where my atonements are would be great.
I use VuhDo, which has a couple different visual ways of tracking atonement.

VuhDo is pretty good.
Track attunement, weakened when putting bubbles on etc.
Grid 2 + Clique are easier alternative to Vuhdo.
Gonna catch heat im sure, but the blizzard default raid frames do a pretty solid job lol.
For ElvUI there’s a plugin to highlight raid frames while a buff is on the target. Look up ElvUI Buffhighlight
You can then go into Elvui settings, under the buffhighlight tab add the atonement spell ID, 194384, then you can configure what color you want it to glow, etc.

I use Grid2 since I’ve had it for a long time.
If you use the default frames there’s also addons to make them more configurable than they are by default to bring them closer to the level of customization you get from addons like Grid2/Vuhdo.
I have no idea how well they work since I haven’t used them, but an example I found searching is:
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/enhanced-raid-frames
i do the same cause everytime theres a bloody update or some change and my addon frames go wayhire i need to learn again and change it.
im a gamer jim not a computer programer!!!

if you wanna stick with Elvui get this
https://github.com/Vekkt/ElvUI_BuffHighlight you have to manually add the spell id but it can change the unit frames a diff color if they have atonement and it can change again when its 2 seconds from falling off
I tried it but it didn’t seem to work and I didn’t have a buffhighlight section in my options. I’ll try downloading from your link to see if that version works.
you have to manually put it into your addons folder
Yea I did that. I didn’t have a BuffHighlight section and my party health bars did this weird color flickering thing whenever someone received a debuff. I also got it from curseforge and didn’t reload the game, just my UI so I’ll try your link and a full reload.
for me it shows up at the very bottom of the elvui selection in a new tab
Is there a way to use Elvui without it changing… literally everything? I just wanted standard raid frames but the entire UI overhaul was an unwelcome sight and huge turn off.
You can disable the parts that you don’t want.
Yeah, I know the UI replacement is the sophisticated answer and all, but just resizing and moving the raid frames to a more central location, then using WeakAuras to track everything (including atonements out/duration) else seems fine to me and less worries about random LUA errors or whatnot.
The default Blizzard Raid frames are perfect for atonement tracking.
Figured it out. Another AddOn was preventing BuffHighlight from appearing somehow, I disabled everything but ElvUI, reloaded, and it appeared. Then I reenabled everything and it kept working even after exiting and restarting the game so I’m not sure what AddOn it was but it seems to be working now.
Also I tried Vuhdo and didn’t like that I have to tell it which debuffs to show me stacks of. Though I loved the HoT Bars option for tracking Atonement.
I do realize that AddOns are a crutch and they will break, and I’m fine using the default UI temporarily or finding a different option.
