I have been leveling a Worgen Priest since the new patch. I began to notice that all atonement healing is healing for much less than 50% of damage dealt. Most often my Atonement is healing myself or another target in an instance for 1 to 4 health. In reality the atonement is healing targets, myself included for about 10% of damage deal. The issue is on a very low level priest, currently level 18.
I also can confirm I am having this issue between levels 19-25 last night.
It is impossible to do any meaningful healing through atonement.
After trying out a few different places to test this issue. I have found the following:
In the old world zones atonement works fine. In BFA zones both in and outside instance the healing from atonement is basically about 10% of damage dealt. Again this is both solo and in an instance group.
This, just confirmed.
Gpy, did you try areas like Pandaria, outland. I need to test those 2 to see if they are correct.
EDIT: So Outlands open world is fine. Gonna que up for Crusade instance
EDIT: Burning Crusade instances atonement works fine.
No just BFA dungeons.
Im having this issue as well im levelling a nightborne priest and started Legion dungeons at level 13 and atonement feels like its applying almost no healing. Ill shield someone, dps like crazy and they will take almost nothing so i end up having to just flash heal spam and not bother with atonement.
I had the same problem on the test dummies in Org too
Issue is still present in BFA zones at least. Just created a new character and as soon as you pick up Atonement at level 12 it’s return healing on damage dealt is still not 50%. Again more like 10% or less.
Came to the forums because I also noticed all the 1’s popping up from attonement. Was confused.
its 5% im healing 4 for 70 dmg then i crit for 96 and got a 5
misplaced decimal?
my attonement does not apply with radiance or shadow mend anymore
