Can priest have what monk has, like an ancient teachings thing? Make atonement a choice node with the smart healing thing.

Literally just talking to another disc friend on this. Give us a choice node on atonement, with one version that caps atonement to 5 or 6, make atonement heal significantly more but split based on the atonements out, which could make atonement viable for triage healing in m+. II guess another way would be a smart heal like monk’s ancient teaching.
Honestly, I hope they just do something. The attention given to disc class design and tuning is just abysmal.

didnt they just give atonement a major buff? I am concerned with how crappy discs damage is compared to all other healers though, unless this is on purpose so that we cant heal more through damage.
They did, but it did basically nothing much since atonement healing in dungeon has been severly lacking in midnight anyway. Disc now is the worst healer in the pool this season. crappy damage (can you believe holy did way more damage than disc, given that disc was supposed to be the damage healer kind of class), crappy output, crappy shields, zero utility, no CR, meh buff. The only thing that disc priest brings nowdays is PI and PS.
Dev has been neglecting disc since start of season and the lack of attention to this class is just disappointing to be honest.
I will atleast take PS over GS… GS feels so janky and I swear theres been many times it should of saved a tank and just didnt. Maybe this is punishement for disc and shadow having some meta seasons back to back in the last few expansions… they said let priests be bad for a while? lol
