Are we going to do something about the drop rate of the fragments? We are already halfway through this content now and Naxx is a once a week raid. It also requires other raids to complete. Having this be the best in slot for most healers and ranged dps and allowing maybe 2-3 people to get it in the time frame of Season 7 is horrible and not well planned out. This was fine in classic. Naxx was ran for a much longer time frame. It also sucks for guilds to have to pick and choose who is going to get it.
Guy. You get 75% of an Atiesh per week at this point. That means over 8 weeks you will get 6 Atieshs which gives you 1 Atiesh per class to stack the auras (priest Druid mage lock) and 2 wild cards. Will everyone get one? No. Does everyone need one? Also no.

Doesn’t most guilds already have 1 and will have 2 by next week? I am not sure what the problem is. Seems fine to me. It’s a legendary, it’s not standard raid loot.
Plus, splinters are guaranteed to drop at level 2. No bad RNG you can run into and potentially get zero like Thunderfury. It’s actually pretty easy to get for a legendary.

There are also allegedly months and months of SoD - give it another 8 weeks after the 10 weeks of this patch and everyone eligible in your 20 man raid will have one.
If anything there will be too many Atiesh’s extremely soon as casual guilds start consistently downing HM4
It’s like 26+ Splinters per week, and someone told me it is more like 35 per week. That’s like almost getting a bis caster weapon every week, that’s actually crazy as hell
Why do you guys seem to think that Naxx will just magically close its doors next phase? Unlike AQ (which is a terrible raid) guilds will keep farming Naxx. Karazhan and Sanctified made AQ obsolete this phase.
There is too much BiS loot for everyone there. Good thing SoD is the easiest version of WoW though… you don’t need a legendary!
They did do something about the splinter drop rate - it’s called the SoD implementation of Naxx where you can get almost 1 staff per week from having 4 wings empowered.
We just completed our 2nd, and our 3rd already has 30 splinters…

Kind of. Naxx has shoulder enchants and will be giga easy but it’s also kind of mid. 6-pc won’t be good outside Naxx and aside from a few key weapons the loot is not going to be that good.

umm we have 1 and a half atiesh in both the raid groups i raid in.
seems to be plenty fast if you arent stuck doing naxx 0 for whatever reason.
hell someone ran naxx one time on sunday in an alt run and got 16 or 18 splinters on a naxx 1.

Its a legendary. Do you realize how ridiculously hard TF was to get, and still is hard to get by comparison? My casual guild has two already, and only 1 raid team.

If you aren’t in a scrub guild, you can get an atiesh every 2 weeks, guaranteed.

Its a legendary. Its a stat stick legendary. There are comparable drops if you didn’t build up a relationship with a guild willing to give it to you. Sorry if you are one of the many alt army scrubs floating about various guilds putting in no effort.

Blizzard is giving out absurd power gains through the seal system so even the wheelchair players can do HMs. This also means more splinters.

There should be less splinters, not more. Because its legendary. It is supposed to feel special and unique but honestly it shouldn’t be legendary at this rate.
Yes, our guild is doing HM 4 and over 30+ splinters in the run this week.

The first time we did HM4 we got 30 fragments in 1 run.
You can literally complete 75% of a legendary item every week.
With the seal rank continually going up everyone will be there soon.
