It seems hit or miss on whether Athainne will actually be in her designated spawn locations.

I keep bouncing back and forth between Ulfar’s cave and Athair’s patrolling at different times of the day and no luck. My understanding is that she is to be with Athair at night and in Ulfar’s cave during the day.
Edit: have not been able to find her on my hunter. I logged my warlock in to camp her out there so I don’t have to go back and forth to see if she’s up and boom… she was there patrolling with Althair. Logged back into my hunter, who has the thornladen heart, and she’s not there… back and forth between toons… there for my lock, not there for my hunter.
Edit: Finally found her in the cave on my hunter after seeing her there on my rogue.

The odd thing is that I have found her twice before with no issues. But, as of at least yesterday on Sen’Jin, she isn’t appearing.

i have been here since 9:45 am est yesterday and she hasnt shown in either spot
its now 5:30 am so almost a full 24 hours and nothing

About 5 days ago, I went to the cave twice. Once for the Bear pet, and another time for the Stag. But since then, I’ve camped back and forth between the cave and down in the forest, but nothing… It feels like Blizz changed her respawn rate all of a sudden.
I think blizzard forgot all about her - and somehow deleted her in their last patch / update
I’ve been checking for her also. No luck on my Hunter, going to try on my alt to see if he can see her.
No luck on my alt either. Does she despawn if another Hunter talks to her?
Okay, I did a Warcraft files scan and it found some errors. WHen I logged back in, I was able to see Athrainne. I’m not sure if that is what fixed, but I’m convinced. I haven’t seen her for the past few days and only after doing this was I able to see her.
Tried this, no luck and now going on 3rd or 4th day of no seeing this NPC, Blizz doesn’t give a rat’s behind about it. They are too busy making sure their precious raiders and dungeoneers have their content fixed, and this will be like anything else, broken for several years.
I will second this and add that she spawned at 2pm in the daytime with her consort walking around the pat and was on Sargeras. There ya go…broken Maybe take the verbiage out, day and night you can find her… just saying but I got the 2/2 I wanted, GL all. Oh and I did switch to warmode when she was not there with warmode off.
