At what point are you an altoholic?

After 3 characters? 5? 10?

I have 40, so I know I certainly have a strange addiction to alts

But I don’t judge anyone under 12, after all, with 12 classes, everyone should get a chance to experience them all without being judged.

Mine started like this
Wrath - 2 character
Cataclysm - 8 Characters
Mists of Pandaria - 14 Characters
WoD - 26 Characters
BFA - 28 Characters
Shadowlands - 40 Characters (early on I got bored and rerolled all 12 classes on a new server)

I definitely misread the title and thought this thread was going to be spicier.

I’d say if you have an extra account because 50 wasn’t enough, you’re officially in the danger zone.

Okay, phew, not there yet. I don’t think I would ever get a 2nd as it’s twice the money and WoW already feels expensive lol

Mine are all 50+, just got so bored of leveling in Shadowlands that 25 are level 60, the rest are level 50.

Hmm I might take that challenge up. I got 2 accounts but really play on main one that has 45 but not all max level soo hmm lol

i leveled my last alt around wod. i quit wow through legion and right up until the very end of bfa like 2 months before shadowlands.

currently i have 6 accounts and i am just about capped on each of them. and yes i leveled each and every one of them except maybe 12 that i got for free by getting xpac pre-purchases. but i never bought a toon outright.

i used to be ranked 1st in the world with alts. now i moved down to 35 because i quit wow for 4 years and 98% of my alts are around level 40-50. if i took the time to get even 20% of them to max i would be ranked 1st in the world again.

I’m not an altoholic. Sure, I have many alts, but I have my limits and stop at a certain point. I think it’s more accurate to call me a heavy alter.

well there is alts and then there is alt score.

the ranking for alts is the person with the most max level toons where i am low.

then there is alt score which is the rankings for most toons of any level above 20 i believe

during wod i had just over 250 max level toons. thats when i was ranked 1st in the world.

I hear of players deleting level 60s so they can free up a slot to level another alt. That would qualify, I’d say!
