At what level can you solo a raid but have it still be difficult

So like; I like old raids, ICC, Ulduar, Black Temple etc I like going through them and actually doing the boss mechanics with some difficulty. Over the years this is way harder now because of the level crunches and stuff. Currently I have a level 39 that I run BC and Wrath raids with.

Well BC and Vanilla raids are STUPID easy with a level 39 because of the stat squish. The only good things are Ulduar and ICC 25 man Heroic where The Lich King still has 10mil+ hp and is extremely difficult with a level 39 unless you know every mechanic.

That’s all I have though, and as far as I know the level mechanic was changed. With before it was 10 levels above something and you can usually rek it easily.

What level would I need to be to do BC raids similar to Wrath, level 34-36 I’m assuming. At what point/level does it stop doing normal damage and starts doing heavily increased damage

Its my understanding that you can go two expansions back and solo any raids.

I’d try about 3-4 levels above. I don’t know if you can solo the raids there with the difficulty you want, but you could try.

Five levels above is where the stat buff is really more noticeable. Six is the golden ticket where it kicks into high gear and your power doubles every level afterwards from there.

So may have to experiment a bit. Try at level 33 first. If it’s impossible then do 34 and then 35.
