If you’re gonna just ignore how unpleasant pvp is right now because of two particular classes and specs for the next patch i’ll politely decline and go enjoy my summer.

They know. They’re just at the point of all but abandoning the current expan to focus on next expan. They got away with it in WOD and now they do it every bad expansion.
Why wouldn’t you just go do that anyway? Unless you have a legitimate shot at a Glad mount there’s not even new elite sets for season 4. May as well go enjoy your life and come back for Dragonflight if you’ve got better stuff to do while it’s nice outside.

Affy is amazingly strong. You just want more. Welcome to being an on par class.
I agree buff my healing again so I can sacrifice DPS to heal through a paladin after getting nearly killed in two hits.
Please do NOT buff other specs to the same power as rogue/mage/warrior. Please nerf the outliners to bring them in line with other classes.
We don’t need more damage in this already insanely bursty meta we are in.
Its not amazingly strong but its decent. Multiple games I will do more damage then the entire other team and they wont be in any trouble at all because their defensive’s are better then the damage im doing so im basically just padding

If they’re using defensives to live through your damage, then your damage must be high enough to need to use them.

Not on a pedastal but the fact remains that I can be left alone free casting which is rare but if i am the other team still isnt in any major trouble unless they make massive mistakes. I think that either says one of two things. Either most melee have way to strong of defensives or that affy damage isnt on par with most other specs/classes and could use a buff.
Not all defensives are equal. Another lock using pact on your soul rot is an auto trade that doesn’t really mean anything. A hunter using feign to take off all your dots is also a defensive that can counter it and mean nothing. Shammy dropping ground to dispel and not get any of the blowback is another.
You either don’t play with a lock or don’t actually know how they work to seriously say that for aff. It’s all rot and pad. Which means nothing in this fast paced meta where most matches end before a 3rd go would happen.
Boomy and sp seem like they’re in the same boat. Who cares if you leave em to freecast they won’t do anything and even if they can you can just swap to them and run em down and they’re useless.
Aff is just too reliant on soul rot atm. Makes it stupid easy for healers to just stop all of your damage and you’re left with just your basic dots and rapture spam to pad with. Imo aff needs either writhe baseline or siphon life on a corruption cast then balance around that. Rot specs need to rot not tickle.

I guess watching teams get melted by affy or affys 1v2ing people must be my imagination.
Aff is fine, the most it could use is reversion of the demon armor removal

They swapped the appearance of a few of the conquest pieces (to different class set lookalikes) but otherwise it’s just a new tabard/drake, presumably cloak and enchant.
Currently there’s only a Paladin (vers/haste) and Warrior (vers/mastery) chest, and no way for non-DKs to get the DK set, but the vers/haste chest has been replaced with the DK appearance in s4.
