Instead WoW players sit down and take it…
The players on WoW are not like the players in Eve and it’s not possible to do here in WoW, what was done or can be done on Eve. Eve online is a single shard server, everyone plays on the same server, and when CCP (the owners), make changes that ticks off the majority of the player base, they can and have brought the server to it’s knees.
Way back in the day, they made certain DLC’s a “pay to win”, this of course enraged the player base, and roughly 6k players made there way to Jita (think Ogrimmar or Stromwind) and began to shoot a large statue that is there. That player revolt made the main trade hub of the game unplayable and got CCP to remove the offensive DLC’s
Wow can’t do that, so if blizz ever made a PTW item, the wow players would have to revolt in a very different method.
The scarcity stuff is crap. Got hit with that on my eve return.
And its not really slowing down the larger blobs. They have the resources. always have.
So it just screws over the non blob people really.
