At least we have amazing looking tier sets

Maybe we deal with button bloat, bad scaling or just being useless every expansion but at least we have the coolest sets. Kind of shocked we don’t see more people playing monk. /s

The art teams for all blizzard games tend to be top notch. The skins in Overwatch for example are absolutely amazing. Amazing mounts and weapons and things in all games… and somehow we can’t get a single monk set that is so good other classes would actually want to use it.

10.2 a crane? why? Its one part of one spec and we get a crane for all? This tier we look like a Rainbow Brite mothered a fish. Like half of the sets feature balls (because why?) or a very strange looking celestial.

Chen and the Zhu/shadow-pan gear looks better than basically every thing we have gotten. The boring and only a few piece garrison monk set looks better than a lot of the gear.

Personally i love the red normal tier set transmog for 10.2
It looks awesome.

Its one of the few tier sets in the game where i actively wanted to get it (not just out of monk sets, all classes)

I dont know what people are talking bout. Dh in 10.2 has one of the more unique sets coming up. And i dont even play dh much, but that tier head piece is pretty nice

I know WoW monks are mostly chinese martial arts inspired, but it would be cool tp have tier sets that reference several other martial arts.

But otherwise i think monk tier sets look really good.

Still waiting for the street fight Wild God Rezan powered ability, where you take a giant dinosaur BITE.

Representation of other martial arts via more Wild God / Loa integration would be a breath of fresh air–push life into the world.

The sets make no sense based on any martial arts in the real world… never mind Chinese martial arts. Monks sets look like what would happen if Mr. T decided he wanted to be a clown while keeping his own style.

Well the red set matches the red crane. The other 3 make no sense at all in any context

What I can assure you that the original designers who were inspired by Chinese stuff have long gone. The current whoever in charge just have no clue.

Lets hope them capable to be inspired by something else then.
