At first I was excited, now I'm just angry

Blizzard is an award winning limbo crew. Dragonflight reeks of just put this out and whatever we can suck out of the remaining player base is meilleur que nada.

There is no cap.

There’s no cap, but you can only earn 2k this month.

it would be cool if one month had an item that requires a few thousand

literally, they added something to the list from every aspect of the game…even pet battles, fishing, gathering, so yeah…you dont have to do raid/dungeon/pvp…lots of other stuff on the list.

open your adventure guide…I was skeptical too…but seriously, almost done with it, easy peasy

This is why you should always have low expectations.

Just noticed tho…the earn 5k gol on AH is not giving credit :frowning:
maybe it will udate tomorrow or something?

Yes, it’s for solo players.

Why would you have your throwing daggers on your back?

I got a pretty pink scarf.

I am happy.

someone could have broccoli in their fridge because someone else in the household likes it.
i don’t think i understand your attempted analogy.

no, they’re likely to stay subbed because they were going to anyway.
this may come as a huge shock to you, but plenty of people have 6 or 12 month subs, and they don’t have crystal balls.
at any point during those 6 or 12 months, something could happen which prevents them from playing.
people bought the long-term subs because unless something unforseen crops up, they had every intention of logging in at least a few times a month.

why would it?
they can see what becomes available without needing to sub.

The analogy is a parody of what you said.

The people this targets verifiably were not.

Unlikely.

That’s crazy, it was unlikely and I was, in fact, not shocked.

Plenty of people don’t have 6 or 12 month subs, and a crystal ball is not required to be interested in something the game has.

By your logic, no one rejoins for a content patch, they just “stayed because they were going to anyway.”

Your train of thought is a train wreck.

“I don’t like the rewards personally so I’m going to post a topic of how bad I think they look personally.”

Oof.
Even if you don’t like them, you can still admit the designs are neat. The bandolier tmog was cool. They added a new flail.
I know you can’t please everyone, but shesh. People are so impatient and vocal about non issues.

Buy them, don’t buy them. Wait until next month.

According to the fella, no one does this.

You right.

UNSUB BECAUSE I DIDNT GET THE TMOG I WANTED DAY 1

if they weren’t going to stay subbed, i find it unlikely that the trading post would be a determining factor.

clearly it does, or you wouldn’t be flapping like a moonkin hatchling.

if they’re interested in something the game has, why would they unsub?
you’re not even making any sense.

no, my logic makes sense. :stuck_out_tongue:
someone can’t rejoin if they didn’t stop playing.
if they stayed, they never went anywhere.

there’s a subset of players who only sub as tourists to check out new patches.
are you mad at blizzard for the playstyle of those players?
i mean… if blizz didn’t release patches, those people wouldn’t be “forced” to sub so they can check out new things.

oh good grief.

i can already see you furiously typing away at another “i know you are, but what am i?” post.

So in your fantasy world, people are either always subbed, or they’ve quit for good? Or are you just drawing these lines to save a sinking ship?

Weak.

I thought you just said they don’t have crystal balls? Or do you also think the majority of people have 6-12 month subs?

No, it literally doesn’t. Your logic posits that the state of someone’s interest is a 1 or a 0, subbed or unsubbed. That’s not logical in the slightest, even for people with a completely disposable income.

Sure, let’s say they’re ‘tourists’ and a ‘subset’ to obfuscate how much of the playerbase actually falls under this category.

Why would I be mad at Blizzard period? I’ve literally said multiple times that I quite like the Trading Post.

Nor would most people play, what point are you even trying to make, here?

Tab out. Touch grass.

I think you’re too fixated on the idea that “I wouldn’t do this, therefore nobody would.” A lot of people have indeed said they’d like to keep playing but they aren’t sure if it’s a good idea. This may keep them subbed. I don’t think it will bring back any of the players you think are going to quit and then follow the trading post to decide if they should come back for a month to buy one thing.

Depends on the mog, and the class, and the character.
