Blizzard is an award winning limbo crew. Dragonflight reeks of just put this out and whatever we can suck out of the remaining player base is meilleur que nada.
There is no cap.
Thereâs no cap, but you can only earn 2k this month.
it would be cool if one month had an item that requires a few thousand
literally, they added something to the list from every aspect of the gameâŚeven pet battles, fishing, gathering, so yeahâŚyou dont have to do raid/dungeon/pvpâŚlots of other stuff on the list.
open your adventure guideâŚI was skeptical tooâŚbut seriously, almost done with it, easy peasy
This is why you should always have low expectations.
Just noticed thoâŚthe earn 5k gol on AH is not giving credit
maybe it will udate tomorrow or something?
Yes, itâs for solo players.
Why would you have your throwing daggers on your back?
I got a pretty pink scarf.
I am happy.
someone could have broccoli in their fridge because someone else in the household likes it.
i donât think i understand your attempted analogy.
no, theyâre likely to stay subbed because they were going to anyway.
this may come as a huge shock to you, but plenty of people have 6 or 12 month subs, and they donât have crystal balls.
at any point during those 6 or 12 months, something could happen which prevents them from playing.
people bought the long-term subs because unless something unforseen crops up, they had every intention of logging in at least a few times a month.
why would it?
they can see what becomes available without needing to sub.
The analogy is a parody of what you said.
The people this targets verifiably were not.
Unlikely.
Thatâs crazy, it was unlikely and I was, in fact, not shocked.
Plenty of people donât have 6 or 12 month subs, and a crystal ball is not required to be interested in something the game has.
By your logic, no one rejoins for a content patch, they just âstayed because they were going to anyway.â
Your train of thought is a train wreck.
âI donât like the rewards personally so Iâm going to post a topic of how bad I think they look personally.â
Oof.
Even if you donât like them, you can still admit the designs are neat. The bandolier tmog was cool. They added a new flail.
I know you canât please everyone, but shesh. People are so impatient and vocal about non issues.
Buy them, donât buy them. Wait until next month.
According to the fella, no one does this.
You right.
UNSUB BECAUSE I DIDNT GET THE TMOG I WANTED DAY 1
if they werenât going to stay subbed, i find it unlikely that the trading post would be a determining factor.
clearly it does, or you wouldnât be flapping like a moonkin hatchling.
if theyâre interested in something the game has, why would they unsub?
youâre not even making any sense.
no, my logic makes sense.
someone canât rejoin if they didnât stop playing.
if they stayed, they never went anywhere.
thereâs a subset of players who only sub as tourists to check out new patches.
are you mad at blizzard for the playstyle of those players?
i mean⌠if blizz didnât release patches, those people wouldnât be âforcedâ to sub so they can check out new things.
oh good grief.
i can already see you furiously typing away at another âi know you are, but what am i?â post.
So in your fantasy world, people are either always subbed, or theyâve quit for good? Or are you just drawing these lines to save a sinking ship?
Weak.
I thought you just said they donât have crystal balls? Or do you also think the majority of people have 6-12 month subs?
No, it literally doesnât. Your logic posits that the state of someoneâs interest is a 1 or a 0, subbed or unsubbed. Thatâs not logical in the slightest, even for people with a completely disposable income.
Sure, letâs say theyâre âtouristsâ and a âsubsetâ to obfuscate how much of the playerbase actually falls under this category.
Why would I be mad at Blizzard period? Iâve literally said multiple times that I quite like the Trading Post.
Nor would most people play, what point are you even trying to make, here?
Tab out. Touch grass.
I think youâre too fixated on the idea that âI wouldnât do this, therefore nobody would.â A lot of people have indeed said theyâd like to keep playing but they arenât sure if itâs a good idea. This may keep them subbed. I donât think it will bring back any of the players you think are going to quit and then follow the trading post to decide if they should come back for a month to buy one thing.
Depends on the mog, and the class, and the character.
