Firstly, as I understand it the selection changes every month. How wide a selection there will ultimately be I have no idea.

Second, things like: “Show Some Love to the Dragon Aspects - 50 points - Emote /love at the Dragon Aspects in Valdrakken” hardly seems like a grind. And obviously it isn’t ‘pointless’ as that one gives you 50 points…snark

And thirdly/ultimately - its optional content. I mean, its so damned optional your world will hardly change one iota if you do none of it.

Sometimes I wonder about current WoW players and their extraordinary level of entitlement…

It’s not really a grind. It’s extra rewards for doing stuff you’re already doing over a month for some cosmetics. If you don’t like the cosmetics at all you don’t have to interact with it at all.

Yes, that is how you acquire the currency. Good on ya for paying attention. That doesn’t change the fact that this is a tool to keep people playing wow for engagement metrics.

I don’t know I already completed the first one just doing some fishing rep and ,dragonbane and primal storm stuff. It shocked me wasn’t excepting it.

its a free battlepass soon they will add another tier with cooler stuff that you gotta pay for like mythic recolors

Can I ask WHAT you do when you are playing the game? If you are a goldshire enjoyer and that’s all you login for, why care?

Otherwise, just doing actual things you normally would in the course of playing the game you get free stuff.

If anything, people should be complaining how you can get the mount in a couple hours of doing activities, and so what rewards will you get for the other 27 days of the month?

Pretty sure the WoW community isn’t ready for 3 levels of battlepass with the top level having “awesome” tmog or mounts that can only be earned with cash.

I got a bucket ready to collect the tears.

It’s not supposed to be new content though. This is a .5 patch. A tiny one which does nothing for the world in most cases and is nothing other than background stuff / system stuff. The trading post is a new system providing people with another way of earning cosmetics. It’s par for the course for a .5 patch.

So you pretty much described the genre. MMORPGs are filled with ‘pointless’ grinds. in the case of wow their in the form of time sinks.
