Asymmetric armor

I’ve been a fan of asymmetric puldrons for since playing a warrior in vanilla. Valor set had them and it was kind of a gritty ‘form over function’ look I always appetited. With the new armor sets they seem to be getting more realistic and it’s making a return. (asymmetric transmogging option which is also great.)

Asymmetrical armor frequently favors the left arm , because your opponent will (presumably) strike with their right hand. Since the left side will take more abuse, and because you’ll need slightly more freedom of motion with your right hand, over-armoring the left was a real practice.

all characters are indeed right handed, and yet all the over armoring trends to the right side. Am I the only one who cares? I’ll show myself out.

I just want more options for separate transmogs! Separate gloves, wrists and even boots!

I agree more options are welcomed, we can already customize Shoulders separately, i dont see why not make the same option for Gloves.

At least with mogging I just go with what looks cool. Characters are wearing enough metal to make 3 knight armor sets on their shoulders.

For the longest time, the opposite bothered me. For instance, when FFXIV does asymmetrical, they do it proper: and the left hand is typically the armored one. And for a time that irked me a small bit.

Now, that logic has kicked in, it’s right-hand gauntlets that bother me now; so the irk just overlapped from left to right.

Titandammit…
