It has been 16 years and Astral Recall has never been changed. Not its animation or basic function to any degree.
As a long time Shaman, It would be cool if Astral Recall opened a portal to your hearthstone that other players could take.
Or let us bind it to a different location than the hearthstone.
Still, it’s been especially useful in Shadowlands, given all the trips back to Oribos we have to make.

The only change I think it needs would be letting us set it to a different location like Fugubar said. Outside that nothing really needs to change. Portals are a mage thing, and its just a seperate shorter CD hearthstone.
Doesnt beed much of a change.

So you want to redesign a classic spell simply because it hasn’t changed?
im pretty sure they did change it… but i cant remember when… was it not a rested exp placeholder for logout? and then a jump right back in to the same spot when used once logged back in? what happened to that? i remember a class having that as their recall option btu idk anymore the classes have all changed… i dont stay consistant with anything to know for sure…
