If I go assassination for mythic plus how bad am I hampering my dps? It’s always been one of my favorite specs
Compared to Outlaw? by quite a bit if im honest
But youre still viable, and you have better uptime due to the Bleeds and Poisons, so you get punished less for mechanics.
Plus ST dmg is better i believe.
If you talent into AOE dmg such has Crimson Tempest, you should do even better, but Outlaw is overall better on M+.

Forgot to mention, the buff we will get in 0.5 are pretty decent for Cleave/Aoe.
Since our bleeds will generate more Energy.

yea assassinations is hella fun lol, im enjoying it way too much
This is specially true when you start getting high amount of energy regen.

It’s pretty far behind Outlaw, it does about the same Boss damage while getting outclassed in any Cleave or AoE situation.
But if you really like the spec you can make it work with a group that has heavy AoE and you’re the priority damage. You may find it hard to find pug groups that’ll let you play Assassination but if you’re with guildies or friends it’s not like you’re gonna grief the key, we’re pretty late into the tier and 15s are super easy.
