Assassination Rogue Rotation

Leveling up a Rogue, at level 25. Been searching for a rotation for a low level Rogue, everything I find is for high level, with some spells I don’t have. Can y’all help me? My Spells: Garrote, Sinister Strike, Poisoned Knife, Rupture, Eviscerate, Blind and Arcane Pulse. This would be for One on One, PvE.

Well, until you hit 50 things are going to be slow and boring. Just Garrote and Mutilate(Or Sinister Strike until it’s replaced) then Envenom at 4/5pts till they’re dead. I’m not entirely sure Rupture is worth using at this time on lesser mobs.
Once you hit 50, things get fun. Make sure you’re specced Subterfuge for the no CD on Garrote when used from Stealth. Garrote - Mutilate - Rupture, then just Mutilate-Envenom(at 4/5pts) till dead. Venomous Wounds from Rupture will refill your energy letting you immediately move onto the next NPC to kill.

On buses/elites, you’ll mainly just want to keep Garrote and Rupture up while trying to get off as many Envenoms as possible. For CD use, you can generally just use them as you can. But, I wouldn’t use them on regular mobs.

Thank you. Well explained!

Knocrogue, Got to looking over your comments. Don’t understand what you wrote above, what you mean.
BTW, this is Sling

The level 30 talent Subterfuge will allow a window of about 3 seconds to use Garrote without incurring it’s cooldown when you’re opening from Stealth. An example of how we open at higher levels is to cast Garrote->Rupture->Garrote and then settle into your normal rotation. This is generally used at 110+ with the Shrouded Suffocation Azerite Power as it increases the combo points generated from Garrote. It works at lower levels by giving you a longer duration amplified Garrote as well as having Rupture up for Venomous Wounds. However, I favor a Garrote->Mutilate->Garrote->Rupture once you have the Vigor talent, while leveling pre-BFA.

Edited for grammatical errors.

Thank you, Berend

You’re welcome and enjoy the rogue!
