Good evening everyone. Just wanted to hear from any current 2400+ assassination rogues what the stat priority is for assassination rogue in arena. I am no longer interested in doing any PvE outside of a M+10 each week for the chest, so I want to have my gems/enchants proper for the content I will be doing mainly (2v2). I understand that haste > mastery for pvp, but my main concern is whether or not I should be gemming/enchanting mastery over haste once I am at a certain haste threshold (e.g., once I have 20% haste, should I be using mastery gems)? Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

I tried searching for the answer, but can’t really get anything solid to go off of.
There is a video of pika saying 40% mastery 20% haste and you want one overwhelming power for the haste proc. Thats what i did when i ran assa. I feel like haste might be even more important now that the bis is wound poison. Maybe 2x overwhelming power. But yea haste is important for assa cus it scales to your bleeds. Mastery is what you stack after you get a decent amount of haste i believe.
Thank you very much for the reply, that is sort of what I suspected:) I appreciate it
Haste=mastery>vers>crit
Talked with Snutz about it a decent bit and that’s what he said. I personally think it’s best to stack haste and then Try to slap on the mastery after that because it just seems like mastery is easier to get. Also after 8.1 since we generally use wound poison over deadly we don’t get as much value out of mastery now, although it is still good because it also buffs our bleeds. 100% want to be at least above 20% haste though.
Is hate still important if a rogue take exsanguinate?
“i was meant to type haste” i went crit /mastery it seems prety good for pvp with exsanguinate but sucks in dungeons especially the M+0 too M+5 bracket
i also went necro so getting combo points isn’t too much of a biggie but im think i want maybe base just 10% haste the rest crit / mastery ill see how that goes
